The top is formed from thick oak planks which have naturally softened over many years of use. The oak shows attractive intricate figuring and flecks. The base is robust and carefully made, with exposed pegged and tenon joinery - it all ads up to a strong sturdy, useful table.
Designed for use, it works equally well as a dining table or a generous desk.
