Original Post Office Counter from Mid Wales

An original shop counter from an old post office in Mid Wales...a unique piece of Welsh cultural history, I love the old instruction label on the inside of the cupboard door.

The business side of the counter has seven drawers (all run smoothly), a cupboard with internal shelves, making it a very useful piece of furniture. The brass handles are all original, the pine is pale and dry

The other side has the original rich, old leathery brown paint patina.

Just a great piece of furniture with excellent provenance - it needs to be useful again...perhaps for a beautiful shop, restaurant or boutique hotel.
