An early 19th century hoop back Windsor chair with great character.

The seat is made of one thick slab of elm, the colour is deep chestnut with a beautiful grain and patina. The arms have been softened and worn pale over the years.

The honest old wabi iron repair to the back is part of the beauty and soul for me...craft and great care have given this chair another 100 years, at least.

Dimensions: Seat W48cm x H41cm x D41cm

Arm width 53cm x Back Height 103
