A Monumental French Rustic Farmhouse / Ranch Table

Measuring an impressive 285cm in length, this is a table designed to anchor a space. Crafted in solid , reclaimed timber - the surface has been gently bleached to reveal the natural grain and tonal variation beneath. The finish is soft, chalky with a lovely texture.

The thick plank top retains knots, grain movement and subtle irregularities, giving the piece character and warmth. It has a relaxed, rustic feel.

The trestle base is equally bold with crossed bracing - pegged joinery and tradtional methods giving authenticity to the design.

While recently made (by an antique dealer), it has the spirit of traditional French farmhouse furniture.

Comfortably seating ten to twelve, it would suit a large kitchen, dining space, converted barn or a contemporary rural interior.
