Rustic Green French Workbench Cupboard in Pitch Pine and Oak

A superb French antique workbench/cupboard… in original green paint…with two deep drawers...plenty of cupboard storage, and interior shelves.  The drawers have proper old cast iron drawer pulls.

The base is made of pitch pine, the top is solid oak.

At either side there are thick tan leather straps, on the back panel there's a utensil/knife rack with a rail for tea towels. The work top is worn-in and used to perfection.

This is a useful piece of furniture with huge character and soul.
The original green paint and patina are perfectly imperfect (sorry)!
Think....rustic kitchen (next to a cream Aga)...in a bathroom with a stone sink....a pop of colour and texture in a modern rustic space.
