Original Pitch Pine Bench from the Jämtland area of Sweden

An original Swedish bench / bed from the Jämtland area.

This is from near to the arctic circle, the climate results in this very pale , almost white colour.

The seat lifts off and the base pulls out to be used as a bed (will need reindeer skins) or for storage. A very solid , rustic handmade piece in heavy pitch pine – in superb condition
