An Exceptional English 19th Century Turned Herb Bowl

This is a very beautiful handcrafted turned dairy bowl, a work of great skill.  The wood is dark sycamore.

A substantial weighty bowl . Simple decorative circles graduating down to a small pedestal.

Note the the marks where the herb cutter has slightly scarred it in the bowl, the signs of use add to the charm. I’m now on the look out for the right herb cutter.

This was a love at first sight, I couldn’t walk away.
