An 18th Century Catalan Dough Bin Table

A magnificent, original dough bin table from the Catalan region of Spain.  Once used for baking, as a kitchen work table.  The top lifts to reveal the space used for proving the dough for bread making.

Structurally it is strong and sound.  The base is a deep, rich colour, the top is stunning, it's been scrubbed and softened over many years of use and care - as have all the edges.

There's lots of useful storage inside the table, two generous and deep drawers and separate sections with a lid at either end.

An impressive piece of furniture for the right kitchen, or the most beautiful console in a hallway or a sitting room (perhaps in a ski lodge).
