A Rare Dugout 19th Century Swedish Folk Art Root Bowl

A rare Swedish folk art root bowl. Used as a milk bowl in a former life.  Inscribed with the maker's mark/initials and a small heart.

Made of birch wood.  Note the wonderful honest wabi repairs.

Simple and honest...a thing of beauty.
