A primitive, hand carved antique tribal vessel bowl made by the Turkana people of northern Kenya.  Each bowl has been hand carved from indigenous wood.

Turkana bowls are known for their distinctive and unique shapes as well as their beautiful carved details.

Originally used for the storage and for the transport of food….age and practical use over time has given this sculptural piece a wonderful worn patina.
