A rare Armenian wine pot.

‘The world’s earliest known wine-making facility was discovered in Armenia, archaeologists say.

A wine press and fermentation jars from about 6,000 years ago, were found in a cave in the South Caucasus country.”

These pots were made over just 200 years ago, by the master potters of Armenia.  Exceptionally beautiful objects, very heavy, lined with bees-wax and finished with small, exquisite details!

I have a near pair or can be sold individually as a stunning one off decorative piece!
